✿ Why do I Write? ✿

Nice to meet you, I am Ms. Anjani, the author of this educational website “Wonderful Creations”. I am so grateful and excited about this project. I always want to do a blog where I can contribute to the world and leave a remarkable legacy behind. However, it was just too hard to leave my comfort zone. I will likely feel nervous and anxious if I have to show my ideas and interests to so many people.

In the past, it was terrifying for me to think I will receive negative feedback and criticisms from the people. I closed my heart and covered my ears. I worried that nobody is going to enjoy what I write. I avoided offending people by not writing anything. These were not healthy for my mental state and I just realized it currently. Until one day, I stumbled upon this short comic on Instagram. The words on the second panel hit me right in the gut.

“How many people will read it, if you don’t write it?”

If I am not bundling my courage to take small steps to go outside to absorb ‘sunlight’, the sunflower will never grow healthy. I have received ‘water and soil’ (knowledge and practices) as much as I can store in the stem. However, how can it be a blessing if people who pass by me do not know that I have the sunflower seeds (the fruit) and they can enjoy it too? These seeds are not just for me.

Back then, I worried to share these sunflower seeds with others. I worried that means nothing for them as it is too small or not taste good enough. Therefore, I never expose it to them. I am too shy to offer it. They are in vain if I keep them for myself. They can rot. That is more unfortunate. I was continuing to worry about how much people are going to enjoy my writing even before I write. I was anxious. Nevertheless, how do I know exactly how many people been blessed with it if I have not written it all? How do I know if the writing has not useful for others if it not exist at all? That was silly of me.

Now, I start to open myself to others. I open a booth. I try to offer these sunflower seeds to people. Then, I am craving to be more fruitful. I want everyone to enjoy these sunflower seeds. I want these to be useful for others too. Even though, it is so small compared with other trees or flowers. I know it very well there will be negative and positive feedback. Some will say that the sunflower seeds are too small and not useful at all. Some will enjoy consuming it in their leisure time. Others may found they love sunflower seeds so much. Then, put it in the soil to grow another sunflower. At this moment, I do not know for sure. The harsh words and lovely praises are just another ‘wind’ that shakes the sunflower. It also helps the sunflower to grow strong and healthy. In the end, the sunflower should not worry about how many people enjoy its seeds, it just needs to be fruitful to others.

In 2020, may God allowed me to serve more through this website. I hope it is the right time for the sunflower to start spread its seeds. Moreover, I truly hope that my posts will give you insights and maybe help you overcome your struggles. I want to learn as much as possible about everything I never knew before and making many new friends. As its name, may this website will be blessed and acknowledge that you are created wonderfully to bless the others too. I believe you also have your seeds that God wants you to share. You could be a tea tree or lavender or grain or anything. It is only you and God who knows. In the end, I hope you enjoyed your stay. I will try as much as possible to share good and rights things from now. Therefore through this blog, I would love to:

• Develop my technological skills
• Enrich people with creative and inspiring innovation in education.
